Independent briefing · Not an official airline page

British Airways is a Heathrow airline with a fare family problem people still underestimate.

Main hub Heathrow (LHR), with a significant Gatwick operation. Oneworld. Executive Club / Avios. The cheap box is often cheap because changes and bags are elsewhere in the checkout — and we will not bury that.

BA LHR Oneworld Avios

British Airways names, livery and loyalty marks belong to that carrier. Travelobuds is not affiliated with British Airways. Read the airline disclaimer.

Fare families

BA has spent years teaching the public that a low headline price can exclude a hold bag and make a date change painful. If you want a changeable ticket, say so on the request. If you want the lowest number, we will send that too, with the rules in the same paragraph — not in a tooltip.

Heathrow terminals

BA’s long-haul heart is Terminal 5. Connections onto Oneworld partners can involve Terminal 3. That walk with children is a planning fact. We will not file a 70-minute T5–T3 connection and call it convenient.

Avios

We quote cash unless you ask for an Avios or mixed plan. Putting an Executive Club number on a cash ticket is easy if you send it before issue. Reward seats are a different inventory; we will not pretend a cash quote is an award.

Club World / Club Europe

Business is not one product. Short-haul Club Europe is a blocked middle and a meal, not a lie-flat. Long-haul Club World varies by aircraft. If the seat is the reason you are paying, tell us the routing you will accept.
