Economy class flight quotes in USD.

Main cabin is not one product. The airline’s fare family decides bags, seat selection, and whether you can change the ticket. Send the route — we quote the class that actually matches how you travel.

What we quote as economy

Standard economy (often called main cabin, coach, or economy unrestricted-enough to change) and, when you ask for the lowest number, basic economy / light / saver. Those are different airline tariffs. A basic-economy price is not a discounted main-cabin seat.

What the airline fare usually includes

  • A seat in the economy cabin on the operating carrier.
  • A carry-on and personal item — unless the fare is basic economy, where many U.S. majors gate-check the roll-aboard.
  • Checked bags only if that fare family files an allowance. Transatlantic and Gulf carriers often include one bag; many U.S. domestic main-cabin tickets do not.
  • Changes and refunds only if the booking class allows them. See refunds & changes.

When economy is the right ask

Short-haul, leisure dates that will not move, or a long-haul where you want the lowest ticket and will buy a seat later. If you need a guaranteed change or a second bag, say so on the form — we will not hide a basic-economy trap as “economy.”

Airports and carriers still matter

Cabin does not fix a wrong airport. Read destination notes if the city has more than one passenger airport. Carrier preference belongs in the first reply; airline briefings explain fare families, not timetables. Open-jaw trips should be one ticket: multi-city.

Sample amounts on the homepage are illustrations in USD for a typical business-cabin round trip on some city cards. They are not live economy inventory. After a ticket is issued, the airline’s fare rules apply — refunds & changes.

Main cabin

Usually a seat choice, a standard bag rule for that airline, and a change fee instead of a brick wall. Still the airline’s fare rule, not a Travelobuds promise.

Basic economy

Lowest filing. Often no changes, last group, and a carry-on restriction on U.S. majors. We will label it if that is the number you asked us to beat.

Premium economy

A different cabin on many long-haul fleets. If you want that, choose Premium Economy on the form — do not assume an “economy” quote includes extra pitch.

Need lie-flat instead?

Use the business class page. Mixing cabins on one ticket is possible; say who sits where.
