Operating carrier
A Delta PNR can include AF, KL, VS, and regional US operators. That is normal. What is not normal is discovering at the gate that a “Delta” flight is a 50-seat regional when you packed as if it were a widebody. We will write the operator.
Basic economy
If the cheapest transatlantic box is basic, it may restrict carry-on, seat choice and changes. US domestic basic is its own chart. If you need a standard economy ticket, say so rather than hoping the specialist guesses.

Hub choice
ATL connections can be efficient and also long walks. JFK is often the transatlantic story from New York. If you care which US city you connect in, put a preference on the request (“avoid ATL” is a valid sentence).
