Independent briefing · Not an official airline page

Singapore Airlines is a Changi product. Scoot is not a secret cheaper SQ — it is another airline.

Hub Changi (SIN). Star Alliance. KrisFlyer. Suites and certain A380 cabins are not the same inventory as a standard business fare. We will not bait-and-switch the vocabulary.

SQ SIN Star Alliance KrisFlyer

Singapore Airlines names, livery and loyalty marks belong to that carrier. Travelobuds is not affiliated with Singapore Airlines. Read the airline disclaimer.

The network

SQ is how a lot of Europe–Australasia and US–Southeast Asia trips should have been built: one marketing carrier, bags through Changi, a layover that is planned rather than accidental. If the cheap option is SQ long-haul plus a separate Scoot sector, that is two tickets. We will label it.

Cabins

Suites, first, business, premium economy and economy are different fare constructions. Aircraft assignment (A380, 777, 787, A350) changes the seat even inside “business”. If a specific seat map is why you are paying, say so.

KrisFlyer

Send the number before ticketing if you want credit. Award space is not cash space. Spontaneous upgrades with miles are a programme problem, not a Travelobuds button.

Fifth-freedom and tag flights

SQ still operates sectors that surprise people (a tag beyond Singapore, or a fifth-freedom). Those can be excellent. They can also land you in a city you did not pack for. The quote will list every city.
